Mission

  • Provide a safe haven for all transgendered people, their friends, families, and significant others.
  • Provide support to the transgendered and their loved ones.
  • Maintain a respectful social environment in which all transgendered people and their loved ones feel comfortable and free to share their joy and sorrow, questions and concerns. An environment in which each person can grow in confidence and grace.
  • Promote tolerance, understanding, healing and growth.
  • Maintain a reference library of and links to accurate information concerning all aspects of transgendered life. Values

  • Tolerance for all, no matter what path each is on and no matter where on the gender spectrum each lies:
  • Crossdresser
  • Pre-op, post-op or non-op transsexual
  • Male to female or female to male
  • Genetic girl or genetic boy

  • Supportive, non-confrontational attitude Policy
  • TGNI is a home for all transgendered people, not just for crossdressers or transsexuals.
  • All members and visitors are expected to exercise common courtesy and to show respect for all who visit TGNI.
  • System hostesses are expected to welcome new and returning guests and to demonstrate a caring, helpful attitude. All members are encouraged to do the same.
  • System hostesses shall help to maintain smooth operation of the several TGNI chat rooms, stepping in, as needed, to avoid confrontation and discord without bias.
